Can you catch head lice from bouncy house Inflatable toys?
My son is invited to a birthday party at a bouncy house, and a note had been sent home from school last week about a lice case in his class, if the child did not get rid of the head lice could it be spread via the inflatable toys?? Im so parinoid about lice!!!!
Firstly... lice cannot jump they walk. They are transferred from close contact (heads together) Secondly... Lice cannot live away for its host (the head) So there is no way of catching them off the bouncy castle itself only from an infested head. So if there is a child on the bouncy castle with lice and they brush heads with your child they can be passed on.
