Inflatable Agreement

Are there occupancy limits in rented properties?

I live in a 2-bed flat with my wife in Oxfordshire. Can my parents and 10 years old brother stay with us for one month? Would it be legal? And if so, should I let my landlord know about it? There's nothing in the rent agreement about occupancy limits.

One of us would sleep on a inflatable bed, but that's not a problem, at least not for us.

Thanks in advance.

The rules regarding "renting to five or more people" would not apply as you are all related to one another, therefore, the landlord would not need a special licence. The licence is only required if the occupants are unrelated... i.e. students etc.,

However, it would be common courtesy to clear it with your landlord, as your guests will be staying for a prolonged period.
