Any ideas for a CARNIVAL themed birthday party for a soon to be 3 year old?
We have a good sized backyard so we're planning on having our sons summer birthday party in our yard. We already have an inflatable Bounce House of our own to use. Besides that my only other ideas are to have different table set up for games or activities. I'm having a friend do a table doing face paintings. Instead of cake I had thought of making snow cones. Anyone have anymore ideas? Keep in mind its for a 3 yr old bday party. Thank you!!!
Games:
Lollipop Tree-Buy a cardboard or styrofoam shaped cone. Paint the bottom of several lollipops red then place them all over the cone and let the kids pick one from the tree. If it is red at the bottom they get a prize.
Duck Pond-Fill a baby pool or bucket with water. Wright numbers on the bottom of several plastic ducks and place in the water. The number determines the prize.
Bean Bag Toss-Paint a picture of a clown onto a cardboard box then cut several holes in the box. Have the kids try and throw bean bags through the hole.
Yarn Pull-Take an empty oatmeal box and cut several holes in the box, just big enough for a paperclip to fit through. Attach a number to one end of the paperclip and a long piece of yarn to the other side. Put the paperclips into the holes so you can't see the number.
