Moonbounce Rentals

Is this going a little overboard for my son's 3rd birthday party?

I'm having it at a local park... Thinking about getting some Chick-Fil-A party trays (my FB contacts will probably crack up at that one), and doing a whole Lightning McQueen/Cars themed party.

Anyways, I was thinking about getting a Moon Bounce for them to play in along with them being able to play on the playground (which would be right near the shelter I'm getting at the park).

Most of the kid who would be attending would be right around his age, maybe a year or two older. Would you allow your child to play in the Moon Bounce or would you be worried about them getting hurt?
I think I'm getting a better deal on the Moon Bounce than what they put on their website cuz I'm a local gov't employee, lol

My birthday is in July and my father hated parties. So when I was growing up, my idea of a birthday was my mom buying a cake to eat after dinner with my bother, father and her. I gotta say I like the concept of family only birthdays. Now I'm 25 and I only celebrate my birthday with my husband. We stay home, maybe go to a restaurant. He feels the same way. we decided our kids' birthdays and other celebrations would be a family thing , not a party with friends affair.
Doesn't mean your way isn't perfectly acceptable. I think everyone has their own idea of a proper celebration.
